About MeI began DJing in 2000 when I was following the Garage music trend. I used to go clubbing and watch the DJs admiring their amazing skills of mixing songs together and keeping the crowds lively. My first involvement in DJing was going round my friend's house and trying to emulate the club DJ's but failing miserably. I would always find myself going round my friend's house to practice my skills so thought it was time to purchase my own equipment. A whole years worth of saving money finally got me the equipment I needed and there was no looking back. I had taken the bold decision of buying top of the range CD decks (as opposed to the standard vinyl setup) which was un-heard of at the time but it was the best decision I had ever made. Over time I had taught myself all the tricks in the trade and built up a huge collection of songs. CD DJs got more and more popular meaning I was in with the current crop and I thought I was as good as the club DJs!!! Unfortunately my ambition of club DJ never took off. Mainly because I was young, over ambitious and maybe not brave enough to approach any clubs with my skills. I remained a "bedroom DJ" as this is where most of my action took place (cut out the rude comments!) although I did DJ at a number of private parties with my mates. Now older and wiser, I have realised I can use the skills I have learnt over the years in a more traditional and effective way and can now offer my services as a Party DJ. Whether this be birthday parties, weddings, anniversaries, etc. I can provide entertainment to fulfil any occasion. My music can be of any genre but normally this would be general party music from the 80s, 90s & 00s. Do not worry about my garage music past as this is long gone! I can provide any type of music you require, just let me know. I come from Southend-on-Sea in Essex and only cater for my local area which is anything in an "SS" post code area but in some instances I may consider travelling further.
